About Creech Air Force Base

As the aerial demonstration training site of the Air Force's Thunderbirds, Creech is also home to the "Hunters" of the 432d Wing and 432d Air Expeditionary Wing. Built during the aftermath of the Pearl Harbor attacks, the base started out at as a "Tent City" training camp.

At this base combat-ready Airmen fly the MQ-1B Predator and MQ-9 Reaper aircraft to support United States and Coalition war fighters. It is also home to the 99th Ground Combat Training Squadron. The base, in conjunction with Nellis AFB, contributes over $5 billion to the community in southern Nevada.
