About Cape Canaveral Air Force Station

Cape Canaveral, an Air Force installation is home to the 45th Space Wing. The headquarters are located at Patrick Air Force base, located right between Cocoa Beach and Satellite Beach. There are over 13,000 people on the base, which includes military personnel, their families, civilian contractors and other personnel. The base also includes the Air Force Technical Applications Center, the 920th Rescue Wing and the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute.

Nothing compares to warm sunshine on the beach, and what better place to experience that than in Cocoa Beach, Florida's Cocoa Beach is right next to the ocean, giving it a large industry in tourism and waterside events. It is also the perfect place for the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, headquartered at the nearby Patrick Air Force Base.
