Located 125 miles south of The Windy City, Bloomington-Normal is the proud home of both Illinois State and Illinois Wesleyan Universities. Bloomington/Normal is home to an Army ROTC program through Illinois State University, located in Normal, IL. Whether in the Army Active Component, National Guard, or Army Reserves, many of our military service men and women return to Bloomington/Normal as their home.
In Uptown Normal residents enjoy the historic Normal Theater, the Children's Discovery Museum and the Performing Arts Center at Illinois State University. In downtown Bloomington you'll find the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts, U.S. Cellular Coliseum and the McClean County Museum of History.
